Associate Professor Jamie Pleune testifies to the House Committee on Natural Resources’ Oversight & Investigations Subcommittee

Jamie PleuneAssociate Professor Jamie Pleune recently testified before the House Committee on Natural Resources’ Oversight & Investigations Subcommittee during an oversight hearing titled “The Biden Administration’s Executive Overreach and its Impact on American Energy Independence.” Despite the expansive title, the hearing focused on elements of permit reform.

Pleune is an expert on the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and part of the Wallace Stegner Center’s Law & Policy Program, which focuses on environmental law research. Her testimony to the Committee focused on NEPA research and data gathered with help from Research Professor John Ruple and Professor Erik Heiny from Utah Valley University.
