This year, two students from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney of Law—Maureen Toomey Armos and Sarah Jan Carlquist—were awarded Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation scholarships. In addition to the scholarships, they each receive funding to attend one of the RMMLF programs. Students from the College of Law have been very competitive in the RMMLF scholarship competition. Last year, College of Law students Kass Wallin and David Hatch received RMMLF scholarships, and over the past 30 years, the College of Law ranks fourth among the 30 governing law schools that are eligible for Foundation scholarships.
