Wallace Stegner Center Environmental Dispute Resolution Program
from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law Environmental Law Program

The Wallace Stegner Center’s Environmental Dispute Resolution (EDR) Program fosters a culture of collaboration around the environment, natural resources, and broader public policy issues, with a particular focus on Utah and the Mountain West. We do so through helping professionals in natural resource and public policy fields be more skillful in engaging with and working through conflict.

The EDR Program continues to offer our flagship Collaboration Certificate Course, to host the Collaborative Leadership Network and the EDR Blog, and to provide tailored collaboration training and coaching for public policy leaders and teams across the West and nationally. This spring, the program launched a new monthly Tidbits email, which shares free tools, resources, and insights for effective conflict resolution and collaboration. The EDR Program also continues to be a partner in the Gateway and Natural Amenity Region (GNAR) Initiative, which was featured in the last year in media outlets including NBC NewsOutside Magazine, and Outside Podcast.
